JUNIOR DRAMA
During remote learning, Junior Drama specialism students have explored the performance style of Magical Realism throughout Semester Two. Specialism students have worked hard to explore new ways of developing their skills throughout remote learning which have encouraged all of us to get quite creative! Students have focused on their vocal work by characterising animal voices in our ‘Talk to the Animals’ section. To further develop this skill, students focused on physicalising characters through creating a devised ensemble performance. Magical Realism promotes magical events that occur in an everyday life setting. These quirky performances capture aspects of magic with some dramatic deaths and many plot twists along the way.
